I believe that everyone has some specific things which
are not allowed to mention.
It is called ‘landmine(地雷)'
frequently in Taiwan's modern day society.
You may
never know when it’s going to explode.

One of my landmines is about driving a car.   When we
see someone driving unskillfully, people would say
that this must be a female who’s driving the car.
And
then we go find out the sex of the driver at the end.
If the driver is really a female, people would say ‘See!
I told you that this must be a female driving!’
And if
the driver is a male, people would say that maybe he’s
just a beginner, and he’ll be much more skillful and
better some day.

Another case is about the motive of helpers.   I know
some people are really nice, but sometimes they
provide aid just because you’re a female. They may
think girls are not good enough at doing some things.
In the past, if someone told me that girls don’t do this
or girls can’t do this, I would try my best to do it to
prove that there was nothing that girls couldn’t do.
But at that time, I didn’t even know what I was fighting
for.

Recently, I’ve found out that everyone has his/her own
strength and advantages.
No one is perfect, and
nothing is 100%.
When we’re applying for a job, it’s
unreasonable that the employer constrain you by the
age, the sex, and the marriage.
If the employer does,
that means the employer is not qualified, so that
he/she lacks confidence on selecting the excellent
candidates.
If the employer doesn’t hire good person
just because of the age, the sex, or the marriage, it’ll
be a great loss of the company.

We’re all gifted, so everyone can make the best
contribution of the society.
